This is my "Fiction Only Journal" or as it's more affectionately known, Alyjude's Basement
(the name is based on an old joke that went around senad many moons ago and is too complicated to explain, trust me *G*). Anyway, consider this my fiction 'website' and yes, eventually all my stories will be here. Right now, you'll find a smattering of fiction from three fandoms:The Sentinel
There are two methods of finding stories here at the Basement:
1) Using this page, Oddly enough called The Table of Contents
, and set up by fandoms, or
2) if you want to find a specific story, just use the "Tags" list found on the left side of the page. Once you find the title, click on it and voila, you'll be magically transported to the story.
Until I've managed to move every story over here (yeah, it's going to take awhile - after all, there are over...like...300...of them, many of which need HEAVY revising - as in CORRECTING) you can still find my older TS fiction at The Kennel
as created by the wonderful artist and writer, K9
, who was sweet and generous enough to provide me a home so many years ago.
You can also find my stories, most of which have been 'revised' and include any newer stories, at another Sentinel archive, the incredible Artifact Storage Room3
or as it's more commonly known: ASR3. (NOTE: This is the ONLY archive I now use for my Sentinel fiction. I no longer support the 852 archive (no loss to them, trust me) and all my stories have been removed from that site).
Pause for Commercial Break:
I heartily endorse the Artifact Storage Room 3
as a site for authors to archive their TS fiction. Its up-to-date software makes loading stories a breeze for authors, but more than that, you - and you alone - will have total control of your fiction and how it's presented. You'll be able to make changes to stories even after they've been loaded (no writing to an unresponsive archivist required) and make corrections (vital function for ME *g*) easily and immediately. You'll also be able to correct information instantly (like changing email addresses - a true miracle if you've ever tried to get that done at, say, 852 Prospect) and yep, you can even add artwork to your stories! This frees you from having to rely on an archivist (one that was, for me, totally unresponsive) to get changes made it they were ever made at all. I should also add that the most important aspect of ASR3, at least for me, is that the creators of this archive support ALL
(unlike my experience with 852 in the last few years).
***Commercial End*** *BG*NOTE
: The majority of my stories were not loaded by me - in fact, they were just recently loaded at ASR3 by a group of the
most special friends in the world, all of whom knew about a situation that prohibited me from doing it myself, let alone in any kind of timely manner, so special blessing to them all. *G*NOTE #2
: In spite of how the current 852 functions, for many years it was the only archive for "adult" Sentinel fiction and, as originally created, served and supported every type of author and reader; so I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the joy the 852 of the past provided; the hours of magical reading for which I'll be forever grateful (I must also thank the wonderful friends who used to load my stories when I had webtv *waves at wod & greenie*).

6. Stories Written Specifically for the Moonridge Auction (TS & SG1) Table of Contents
Special Note: You might be aware that for the Moonridge 2007 Auction, I offered my own cook book that contained all the recipes of all the foods I've had in my TS stories and Jake Universe stories (and a few extras from SG1). These are my real recipes, many handed down over the years (and in some cases, updated by me) as well as some of my own recipes. After the auction was over, I received many emails from folks who wanted the cookbook so it's now available for purchase from Ancient Zine. You can get it in zine form, on a CD or as an EZine.
If you're interested, you can check it out HERE!
The recipes really are mine, and yeah, I think they're delicious so hope you like! :)
Make yourself comfortable down here in the basement and don't forget to check back often as new stories will be added all the time!
